Floral felicitation of Finalist of Femina Miss India 2016 Navpreet


Jalandhar, April 13, 2016: Navpreet Kaur, a student of BA (Journalism & Mass Communication) II Semester of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar made the institution proud by becoming one of the five finalists of Femina Miss India 2016.
A press conference was organised in the premises of KMV to welcome Navpreet. She was accorded a floral felicitation by the principal of the college Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi. She lauded the efforts of Navpreet and congratulated her for this success. She stated that Navpreet was the youngest contestant and the only girl who represented Punjab to the stature of Femina Miss India. It is note worthy here that KMV provided her the first platform where she won the title of Miss KMV this year and motivated her to move ahead to fulfil her dream of becoming Miss India. It is worth mentioning here that mother of Navpreet has also studied form KMV and is presently serving at a high rank in the dept. of Punjab Police. Hailing from a rural village Navpreet has made the Institution proud and at the same time motivated all the young girls to aim high in life.
