Multi-lingual content driven acting powerhouse actor Upen Patel says that it is great to be an actor in Indian industry, as films and digital space has open many unprecedented doors for creative arts and people. Upen Patel was interacting with media on the sidelines of a promotional event. Talking about Digital space has ushered the artist into a new realm of creativity and productivity, Upen said, “It's a great time to be a creative artist as so much is happening and lots of great content bring creative to appeal to a range of audiences. The films and digital space has opened so many doors for creative people, it is unprecedented. People are making good content and for once, I am impressed with so much hustle bustle in the creative world” Upen is a noted name across the nation, with his presence across Hindi, Tamil and Telugu industry. When asked about being open to digital space, Upen said, “As an actor, I'm open to all mediums especially films and digital platforms. Today the audience wants to watch good content with good production value and are open to all platforms themselves. Today even the king of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan is leading the way and heading to digital. He is making Bard of Blood under his home banner with collaboration with Netflix. I myself am a die-hard fan of Black mirror series on Netflix and loved sacred games with Saif Ali Khan and Nawauzddin Siddiqui” Further adding Upen said that digital space has more reach and content to be fearless. He said, “I have nothing against films being made, but there is censor board, which out of responsibility cannot allow a certain type of content to go in films but with Digital platform, there is no limitation or restriction. One could be fearless and creative, yet responsible” After enthralling his Tamil fans with five massive hits, working with top directors such as Shankar, AR Murugadoss and R Kannan, actor Upen will soon make his debut in the Telugu film industry. The mega project, which has already begun shooting in Jaisalmer, is being directed by Thiru. Actor Upen will be seen playing the main antagonist in the film, which also stars Gopichand. The action spy thriller will reportedly be shot at a massive budget.
