Ludhiana, July 24, 2018: Today, a meeting of FICO under the chairmanship of Gurmeet Singh Kular President FICO was held to have discussions on the indefinite strike by the transporters.
FICO Urged the Chief Minister Punjab and Prime Minister to intervene in the matter as t was an emergency like situation because materials were stocked in factories. It was said that it was difficult to keep stock of materials during rainy season.
Kular said material under transit is also stopped by transporters as it is required immediately for the on line productions. He added without transportation it is very difficult for the survival of industries.
Industry needs relief for the survival, as on time delivery is very important for the survival of industry, he said.
