FICO and I am SME of India sign MoU

Ludhiana, October 9, 2014: SME Connect Series 2014 along with annual general meeting of Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organisations (FICO) was held here.
Arvind Raghav, Director, Dun & Bradstreet India, Abraham Chacko, Executive Director, Federal Bank Ltd. Antu Joseph, National Head-SME, Agri & FI Business, Federal Bank Ltd., Gagandeep Singh Bhatti, Business Head- North, Sify Technologies Ltd., Ajay Thakur-Head SME Segment, BSE SME, Ravindra Nath, Chairman & Managing Director, National Small Industries Corporation Ltd. Onkar Singh Pahwa, Chairman & Managing Director, Avon Cycles Ltd. presented their views.
K.K. Seth, chairman, FICO and Rajive Chawla, chairman, I am SME of India signed the MoU. Rajive Chawla congratulated FICO for joining I am SME of India & told the various privileges which they can enjoy as a group. He informed that discount  up 70 % on motor vehicle insurance & 90%  on fire insurance can be availed by members. Diesel for industrial use can be purchased at @.50 paisa per litre at discounted rate, various discounts on air travelling & visit to international exhibition  can be availed by members, reduced interest rates on credit facilities from bank can be availed by the members, various cells like delayed payment recovery cell, credit facilities cell, women entrepreneur cell, advisory  services for filing of Income tax return, vat returns, allotment of  PAN, TAN, TDS & TCS are available free of cost for members. He also informed that industry integrated training & placement programme for engineers & engineering students is available for the members.
He also mentioned that subsidised solar power projects is available for the members and various other schemes were also discussed for the benefit of the industry.
On this occasion FICO launched privilege silver for 1Lac, Gold for 5 Lac & Platinum for 10 Lac cards. 5 FICO members availed these cards from Rajive Chawla, Harcharan Singh Gohalwaria & K.K. Seth.  All these benefits are available for FICO member also.
Pankaj Munjal, Co-chairman Hero Cycles Ltd and Harcharan Singh Gohalwaria Mayor Ludhiana presented their views and congratulated all the office-bearers of FICO and I am SME of India for this historical MoU and said that big revolution in industry sector in the field of technology and innovation will be seen in near future.
