FESTIVAL: Dussehra remind us about power of good over evil- MP

Ludhiana, October 24, 2012: Congress Spokesperson and Ludhiana MP Manish Tewari today said that the festivals like Dussehra remind people about the power of goodness over evil. He said, no matter how strong the evil may tend or try to be it can never stand the strength of goodness.

Addressing a number of Dussehra functions in the city, Tewari maintained that India had rich history and culture and that has proved to be a guiding force not only for the Indians but the entire human civilization.

He recalled the values preached, practised and cherished in Ramayana are as relevant today as these were ages ago. He said, the relevance of the principles has become more important now as it was earlier.

Tewari said, in every age and every time the evil raises its head in one form or the other and we have to keep guard always. He appealed to people to resolve and ensure that no evil is allowed to raise its head and is nipped in the bud.
