Ferozepur, December 1, 2012: The Ferozepur City constituency MLA, Parminder Singh Pinki, has claimed to lay the foundation stone of State-of-the-Art Eye Hospital , got sanctioned after great efforts, would be laid in January next.
The ministry has finally given its approval for this prestigious project and this will the first of its kind hospital at a cost of Rs.4.20 crore as there was no such government eye care hospital in this part of the Malwal region.
As per the information, besides the latest technology, the hospital will also be equipped with 20 bed intensive care unit (ICU). The site and drawings for the project have been prepared by the engineers of the Punjab State Health Systems Corporation.
With the start of the hospital, now the people of the area will not have to move to far off distance for eye treatment.
For this initiative of Pinki, all the NGOs of Feozepur have decided to honour him.
