Ferozepur, January 22, 2014: Applauding, Punjab government’s efforts to halt human trafficking in Punjab, Manjeet Singh Narang, Deputy Commissioner, Ferozpur warned all the travel agents of Ferozepur district to get themselves registered or the administration shall take stern action against them.
Narang, informed that no travel agent can work without registration under the Punjab Human Trafficking Act 201. He further informed that those travel agents who are working as travel agent for more than five years, will have to deposit Rs.1 lakh as registration fee while others will be charged Rs.25,000.
