Ludhiana, November 9, 2012: An important meeting of National Executive Committee of Bhartiya Udyog Vyapar Mandal under the presidentship of Shyam Bihari Mishra, ex – MP alongwith working committee members of Punjab Pradesh Beopar Mandal (PPBM) will be held here on November 18.
Giving this information today, the PPBM state secretary Mohinder Aggarwal told that the agenda of the meeting included the issue of FDI in retail, Food Safety and Standard Act 2006, online advance trading, Punjab VAT problems and e-TRIP system introduced in Punjab and proposed GST.
Further, he told that the meeting agenda also included hike in electricity rates.
Shyam Bihari Mishra would highlight protest programme and road map against FDI in retail in the coming meeting, said Aggarwal.
The venue of the meeting would be Annapurna Cafeteria. The meeting would begin at 10-30 am, said Aggarwal.
Among others, BUVM secretary general Vijay Prakash Jain, PPBM state president Amrit Lal Jain, senior vice president Piare Lal Seth, general secretaries Rajinder Singh Josh and Sunil Mehra and secretary LR Sodhi, and Ludhiana district unit president, PPBM, Kasturi Lal Mittal, would participate in the meeting.
