New Delhi, July 2, 2015: From Baseball Jacket to tuxedo to elegant women wear, it turned out to be two days full of vibrancy, designs, color, and textile designs as Delhiites reveled in the richness of Fashion at JD Annual Design Awards 2015.
The festival that started on 1 July, wrapped up with heart winning performances by the collections which were represented by the models. The models showcased beautiful collections designed by the students by doing a ramp walk at JD Annual Design Awards 2015.
Students of JD Institute of Fashion Technology came out with artistic ideas and made the best out of this tremendous opportunity and gathered useful inputs from the industry professionals.
There were eminent personalities present on the last day  at the event like Rocky.S,Manjeet Bhullar,Varija Bajaj,Shantanu & Nikhil,Saket Modi, etc.
For the lovers of the fashion, it was the best assembly of models and designer collections, as the vibrancy of fashion was on full display at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi.
While the days were full of exhibitions-interior and jewellery, the nights were brought alive by riveting performances of models doing ramp walk in front of a packed crowd.
“Each and every piece was like nothing I'd ever seen before. Each designer had their own individual take on their collection, and you could tell why they put so much time, sweat, tears, and love into their designs. It made me remember those days when I received the trophy 25 years back at the same platform”, said Rocky.S,the Bollywood Fashion Designer.
It was a night to remember, and I always feel so lucky that I get to attend this show and support these students who are going to be the designers of tomorrow, said, Shantanu & Nikhil.
Organized by JD Institute of Fashion Technology, the fashion carnival presented a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of the fashion.
“It’s amazing to see a student, Rocky.S, who passed from here 25years back, is now giving awards to the students of today’s generation. I wish all the students all the best wishes and may they flourish in their respective carriers and make their parents and the JD institute proud. ,” said Mr. Rc Dalal, Executive Director, JD Institute of Fashion Technology
