FARMERS Training Camps at District Level from March 22

Chandigarh, March 19, 2013: The Punjab Government would organise farmers training camps in all the districts of the state to educate the farmers regarding the new techniques for the agriculture production for the Kharif season 2013.

Giving the information a spokesman of agriculture department said here today that in these camps farmers would be sensitised about the new technique of agriculture by the agriculture experts besides problems of farmers regarding the agriculture would also be addressed.

He said that agriculture camp would be organise at Fatehgarh Sahib and Patiala on March 22, in Barnala and Sangrur on March 23, in Faridkot and Firozepur on March 24, in Roopnagar and SAS Nagar on March 29, in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar and Hosiarpur on March 30, in Mansa and Bathinda on April 3, in Amritsar and TaranTarn on April 4, in Jalandhar and Kapurthala on April 5, in Gurdaspur on April 6 and in Moga and Ludhiana on April 9.

He further said that the date of Mukatsar camp is yet to be finalised. He made an appeal to the farmers to take active part in these camps and get the maximum benefit out of it.
