Farmer Day celebrated at New BCM Kindergarten Basant Avenue Dugri

Ludhiana, December 22, 2018: Farmer Day was celebrated at New BCM Kindergarten Basant Avenue Dugri. Farmer Day is celebrated on 23DEC.Every year to promote awareness to help and reward farmers for their contribution to society. Farmer’s Day observance to compel us to think how farmers grow crops with great difficulty and their burnt skin to feed us, but themselves remain backward and wretched. It is a birthday of Indian Farmer’s Leader Late Chaudhary Charan Singh. He is ever recognized as the son of the soil who belonged to farmers’ community. The students came dressed as farmers. They were introduced to the tractor and farm equipment’s. The small farmers over enjoyed to take a ride on tractor. The teachers emphasized on the need of farmers to the society and their hard life. The school principal Dr.Vandna Shahi appreciated the activity and said these awareness activities are really required for today’s generation.
