Faridkot dominates at Mahindra NBA Challenge League

 

Ludhiana, August 12, 2012: The under-13 girls and boys teams of Faridkot lit up the Mahindra NBA Challenge as both sides recorded emphatic wins at the Guru Nanak Stadium here today.

Deep Kaur who top scored with 10 points led the Faridkot girls to a 36-0 rout of Patiala in an under-13 group B match. The boys then replied with a fine showing of their own as they overpowered Green Land 45-3 with nearly half the points coming from Manpreet who finished with a haul of 22.

In other matches, Doraha Public School prevailed 22-10 in their under-13 girls B clash with Khalsa School, Potohar while PAU Model School proved too superior for DPS Ludhiana in under-13 boys C action winning the game 32-4.

Muktsar had mixed results  in the under-13 section with their boys team cruising to a 35-19 victory over Police Line Club but their girls suffering a crushing 39-5 defeat at the hands of Mansa.  Jalandhar’s under-13 girls side meanwhile were gifted a win as DPS Ludhiana failed to turn up for their group C encounter.
