Dharamsala, February 7, 2014: Eyeing the forthcoming the Lok Sabha elections, the Himachal Pradesh chief minister Virbhadra Singh tabled the Rs.23,613 crore populist budgets for year 2014-15, with no new taxes. The CM tried to woo different sections of the society particularly the elderly, women, youth and employees that form the major chunk of electorate. He announced 10 % dearness allowance from July last year.
"Employees are the back-bone of the government. Their welfare is utmost concern of my government. I had announced filling up of more than four thousand posts in different departments in my last budget speech. I am happy to announce that we have filled more than this”, said the CM in his two hours long budgetary speech which was laced with couplets."// dharamsala news update, dharamsala information, dharamsala news, himachal news online, himachal news kangra, himachal news in english, himachal news today, himachal news, india news, world news,
