To give Ludhiana a firsthand experience of the festival a food bloggers’ meet was held where foodies came and tried the various dishes on offer at the festival. Food blogger and chef Jatin Khurana said, ‘I am happy to know that hotels in Ludhiana are taking regional cuisines to gastronomical levels.”

Made in India at Radisson Blu Hotel MBD Ludhiana has put forth a mouth watering treat for the people of Ludhiana where you will be able taste some of the most popular street food from the streets of Mumbai. “Spicy Mumbai food was a need of the hour and I really liked it,” said blogger Astha Kalra. Blogger Amrita said, “This is a great concept and I have never experienced desi food in a five star making this a really good experience.”

The master chef has showcased vada pao, masala toasty, pav bhaji, ragda patties, keema pao any many more. “If you can get a taste of Mumbai in your own city, there is nothing like it. With our busy schedules it may not always be possible to travel to Mumbai to satisfy a craving. So a festival like this is always welcome,” blogger Priyanka Michelle Das said.

“The festival is also a great treat for vegetarians in which new separate green menu featuring endless signature dishes and ever favourite classics for our vegetarian guest, dishes like Vilayati Subzi, Rehri di soyabean Masala , Dal Makhani, Paneer Lababdar and Amritsari aloo wadiyan methi. And the option of no onion and no garlic is also available,” said Chef Jyot Rana who is the brain behind the festival.

To complete the entire feel of Mumbai there is a Selfie-Corner and the rustic themed décor has lanterns and Bollywood movie posters at the venue. “The concept of the festival is unique and it is good to know about different cuisines,” blogger Sunaina Garg.

Blogger Juhi Dhingra, “Ludhiana actually needs more of these festivals as it will open up food blogging as a profession in the city.” Blogger Karan Gurm agreed that this is how the food business in Ludhiana should go where the people are more aware of what they are eating.

“With a lavish menu, diners can experience the different facets of the colourful Mumbai through a feast full of tradition and modernity all at the same time. The festival, starting tomorrow, will go on till 30 June 2017. It will be a great pleasure for us to serve you,” said General Manager Arindam Chakraborty.
