Jalandhar, September 24, 2019: An excursion to Sultanpur Lodhi, Seechewal, Harike and Hussainiwala Border was taken by the students of Department of Computer Science of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar.

Balbir Singh Seechewal, who spearheaded an anti-river pollution campaign in Punjab, interacted with students and discussed the various means to keep the environment clean and pollution fee. The interaction was pretty inspiring and motivated students to come forward for active campaigns regarding clean and green surroundings.

The visit to Hussainiwala Border intensified patriotism amongst the students who were also invited to the museum being maintained by BSF where great memories of great martyrs of India were preserved.

Principal Dr.Sucharita Sharma appreciated Dr.Roopali Sood, Head and Dr.Jagmohan Mago, Department of Computer Science for the thoughtful idea of taking students to an excursion where along with pleasure they have learnt about the environmental concerns.
