Examination Begins At AUH

Gurugram, April 30, 2018: End semester examination UG and PG courses at Amity University Haryana Gurugram campus begin today, April 30th 2018. In total 1432 students appeared in 86 subject examinations in 20 institutions of higher learning in the university. These includes courses in Engineering, Bioscience and technology, Management, Earth and Environmental Engineering, Behavioral Sciences, Applied Sciences, Architecture and Planning, Allied Medical Sciences, Law, Fine Arts, Journalism and Mass Communication among others. The start of the examination consided with Buddha Purnima that was celebrated with vedic havan and prayers for peace, harmony & happiness.
The focus of examination is to access the depth of knowledge and capabilities of the students to apply the acquired knowledge for problem solving. Amity University Haryana follows an innovative curriculum design that offers a wider choice of courses to foster inter disciplinary perceptions. Courses on communications and behavioral sciences build human values of Aatmiyata, Empathy and Service to society and mother nature besides a sound moral aptitude in students, said Prof (Dr.) P B Sharma, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Haryana who is also the President of Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.
The lush green Amity University Haryana campus offers a serene environment for living and learning in harmony with nature. The university maintains good air quality and has implemented extensive rain water harvesting and waste water treatment within the campus. As such the university lays a heavy emphasis on sustainability and green building maintenance.
