Ex-ministers’ supporters demand MP Ticket in Rajni Patil Meet held in Dharamshala
Dharamshala, July 9, 2018: Newly appointed Himachal State Congress Party in-charge Rajni Patel today addressed a party workers meet at Utsav Palace Dharamshsala in Kangra District and advised the party men to work as a single force, leaving aside the differences, to win all the four Lok Sabha seats in the coming parliament elections of 2019. She was accompanied by Joint State in-charge Gurkeerat Singh. It was the first visit of Patil to state, as the party in-charge. She said, “Start the work for elections from today and work hard.” She took the feedback of the workers and guided them. Talking to this correspondent Patil said, “We have started our campaign for 2019 elections from Dev Bhumi Kangra. First we will have party meetings at district head quarters of Himachal and then shift to block level as per our Buniyad 2019 campaign to strengthen the party. Congress party still has a mass base, we just need to refresh it.” The meet was earlier become the power field of slogans by the supporters of two ex-Ministers G S Bali and Sudhir Sharma of the district. The supporters were claiming the Lok Sabha ticket for their leaders. Himachal Congress party chief Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu advised the workers to be united to clinch victory in Kangra seat. The meet was also addressed by CLP leader Mikesh Agnihotri, G S Bali, Sudhir Sharma, MLA Ashish Butail, Ex-MLAs Sanjay Rattan, Ajay Mahajan, Yadvinder Goma and Ex MP Chander Kumar. Party spokesperson of Kangra Jitender Sharma said, “The meet was first planed at indoor stadium and was booked with advance amount of Rs 30,000 but was cancelled at last hour by Jai Ram Government of Himachal without any reason, and the party has to make emergency arrangements at Utsav.”
