Kumaar is a successful and active lyricist in Bollywood Cinema. Kumaar's success journey began with Ishq Tera Tadpave from the album of Sukhbir. He is well known for Bollywood chartbuster songs like Baby Doll, Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan, Sooraj Dooba Hain, Lovely, Desi Girl, Tujhe Bhula Diya dua and many more
He found real fame as the Best Lyricist for the song “Maa ka ladla bigad gaya '' from Dostana. Vaddi Sharaban is his latest work in Bollywood for the movie De De Pyaar De starring Ajay Devgan, Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh.
When we asked him what he feels about the song Vaddi Sharaban Kumaar said “Vaddi Sharaban is doing good and I wrote many female songs like desy girl baby doll chittiyan kalaiyan etc.. I feel people will accept this song as well.”
Kumaar also shared that he doesn’t work emotionally because he doesn’t love his work, he respects his work and understands it. It’s the people’s love that reaches him and makes him emotional.
Ishq Tera Tadpave was his first song but he earned the fame only after his song ‘desi girl’ and ‘Maa da ladla bigad gaya’,
On asking his perspective regard the Royalty provided to the lyrist and on the growing trend of remix kumaar told “No one supports remix or remake it’s Kabhi Kabhi Kuch chize majburi ke daayre me aate hai. It is not that Artists willfully accept to recreate their own work.” He further added “It is good and we will start receiving Royalty soon, the amount and the quality of the work we do, deserves good royalties. But I am happy with what I get and it really doesn’t bother how much profit does the writer earn because I go with the flow Jo Mila Jitna Mila Kush Rahe Ta Hu.”
Kumaar who has also written the lyric of OMG confest that he believes in the divine power and the karmic cycle that if out of 100 people only 2 are selected then there has to be something more than hard work.
