Engineer’s Day celebrated at LGC
Ludhiana, September 18, 2019: Engineering College of Ludhiana Group of Colleges celebrated Engineer’s Day to pay a tribute to legendary visionary a-Bharat Ratna recipient, Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya (Sir MV) on his 158th Birth Anniversary. On the occasion, students highlighted the life and achievements of Sir M.V. Various technical events like projects, models & poster making were prepared and displayed by the students. Some innovative ideas were also thrown by the budding engineers which was appreciated by to bring out the hidden talent and skills of the students. The hall mark of the team event was technical quiz in which students participated & exhibited their engineering potential. Students also decorated the walls with technical themes. Some advanced concepts of engineering were also presented by the students. In the end, management Gurmeet Sachdeva, Rajiv Gulati and Vikram Gover took the round of the pavilion and evinced keen interest in these activities. They distributed certificates and prizes to the winners of various competitions. Director LGC, Dr. J.K. Chawla, Principal Engineering Dr.Rakesh Kumar, Principal Mgmt. Dr. Nishi Bala and Principal Polytechnic Er. M.S. Gill appreciated the efforts of the students and faculty to make this day a memorable and also congratulated the students and faculty members on this special day.
