ELEVATING AMRITSAR’S WEEKEND CULINARY SCENE, HYATT REGENCY AMRITSAR LAUNCHES HYATT BIG BRUNCH WEEKEND
To be served every Sunday, the Themed Brunches under ‘Hyatt Big Brunch Weekend’ to serve specialities from a different cuisine every week as part of the elaborate Brunch menu Amritsar, July 29, 2018: Amritsar, the heartbeat of Punjab, is a city with a unique identity and culture. Known for its vibrancy and verve, its residents are equally radiant as they display their love for life in abundance. This love for life is most apparent in their love for food, for which they are renowned across the world. Taking inspiration from their fondness for food, Hyatt Regency Amritsar, the region’s leading hospitality destination, is elevating Amritsar’s Weekend Culinary scene with the launch of its “Hyatt Big Brunch Weekend”. To be served every Sunday for Brunch from 12: 00 pm to 4: 00 pm at Punjab Province, the North Indian Bistro at Hyatt Regency Amritsar, the ‘Hyatt Big Brunch Weekend’ will lay out an array of exquisite delicacies, much to the pleasure of residents of Amritsar. Each ‘Hyatt Big Brunch Weekend’ will be a Themed Brunch, with the theme being a particular cuisine. Select specialties from that cuisine will form the highlight of the brunch. For the ‘Hyatt Big Brunch Weekend’ this Sunday, July 29, 2018, the theme is ‘Oriental Cuisine’. A multicultural cuisine comprising gastronomical wonders from the Eastern Asian countries, it is known to serve a wide variety of flavours and unique preparations to suit everyone’s palate. “The concept of brunch existed in Amritsar much before it became a global phenomenon. The residents of the city have been known to eat at least one non- home cooked meal a day. On weekends or holidays, they have always had the penchant of eating a late breakfast, usually an Amritsari Kulcha Chana, at a food joint of their choice. In short, they have been eating a desi brunch all their lives,” says Chef Shiiv Parvesh, Head Chef, Hyatt Regency Amritsar, sharing insight on the dining and brunch culture of Amritsar. “With the launch of Hyatt Big Brunch Weekend, we have made an effort to elevate the weekend brunch experience of these people by serving a mouth-watering fare from a different part of the world every Sunday,” adds Chef Parvesh.
