Electric supply will be disrupted in many areas of Dharamshala from Sunday onwards

Dharamshala, October 11, 2019: Charan Singh Kaushal, Assistant Engineer, Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Sub-Division No.1, informed that due to proper maintenance and repair of electric lines and cutting and pruning of tree branches, Power supply will be interrupted from 10 am to 5 pm in particular areas of the city.
He said that on October 13, electricity supply will be disrupted from 10 am to 5 pm in the areas of Municipal Corporation Office, IPH office, Regional Hospital, Judicial Complex, Telephone Exchange, Yatri Niwas, SP and Deputy Commissioner Offices, Public Works Department, Electricity Office, Prayas Bhawan, BDO Office, Forensic Laboratory, Police Line, District Library, Mini Secretariat, Court Office, Dipu Bazar, Civil Bazar, Civil Line, KCC Bank, DRDA Office , Deputy Director Education, Part of Chilgadi and Zila parishad office.
He said that power supply was disrupted on 14 th October from 10 am to 5 pm on 14 October in areas like Kotwali Bazar, Kala Pul, Purana Chari Road, Gamru, Tibetan Library, Khazanchi Mohalla, Ram Nagar, Shiv Nagar, Dadnu, Khaniara Road and TCV etc.
Assistant Engineer Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board, McLeodganj, Ramesh Chand informed that on October 15 (Tuesday) the power supply will be interrupted from 9 am to 5.00 pm, in areas like McLeodganj, Mandir Road, Jogiwada Road, Khada Danda Road, Forsethganj, Hiroo, Dooslan Road, Tipa, Mountain ring Institute and Dharmakot.
Similarly, Karmachand Bharti, the Assistant Engineer of Himachal Pradesh State Power Subdivision Siddhpur informed that due to proper maintenance and repair work of electric lines power supply will be interrupted on 14 th October from 11:30 am to 5.30 pm in the areas of, Siddhpur, Rakkar, Himuda offices, Siddhabari, Gytotampal, Yol, Yol Bazaar, Tikkalahser, Chathed, Lahsar, Banni, Banoi, Narwana, Kasba, Narwana Bazar, Tangroti Khas, Tangroti, Slate Godown, Kaluibarg and Uthadagrang etc.
The electricity department informed that in case of inclement weather, repair work will be done the next day.
