Mythological shows in India have always managed to captivate the audience with numerous fascinating tales of the great Lords. Capturing the power of devotion towards the Almighty with one such captivating story is that of &TV’s brand-new mythological show, Kahat Hanuman… Jai Shri Ram , produced by Peninsula Pictures. Narrating the tale behind Hanuman’s origin to Him emerging as an embodiment of devotion, the show is set to feature Bal Hanuman that will be essayed by child artist Ekagra Dwivedi. An ensemble cast featuring actors such as Nirbhay Wadhwa, Waseem Mushtaq, Jiten Lalwani and Sneha Wagh amongst others will also be seen playing other vital characters in the show. While the young actor may have already made his debut on television, he is quite excited to portray Hanuman who he considered his favourite superhero! Speaking about the same, Ekagra Dwivedi said “My mother often narrates interesting tales of Hanuman and I enjoy listening to all the stories. He is my superhero and whenever there is a fancy dress competition in my school, I like dressing up as Hanuman. I am very excited to learn that I will get to play Bal Hanuman beyond just a competition and in a real show. Currently I am enjoying shooting with the entire cast of the show, they all love pampering me and keep feeding me most of the time.” An incarnation of the powerful and supreme Lord Shiva, Lord Hanuman was created as the most powerful being on earth with a certain purpose and potential. Defining this purpose while giving viewers a glimpse of the tale between Lord Shiva and the invincible evil Ravana, ‘Kahat Hanuman…Jai Shri Ram’ is a fresh perspective on one of the greatest Indian Gods. It depicts the many unexplored sides of Lord Hanuman while conveying relevant, contemporary messages while leaving a smile behind.
