Captains & players from 8 different corporate sector teams of Tricity pose with the trophies a media meet to announce season I of Corporate Super League, CSL T 20- 2015.
Chandigarh, December 2, 2015: Fans of T 20 cricket are in for exciting days ahead. Come December 5 and the First Edition of Corporate Super League T- 20 Cricket Tournament, will kick off at the Sector 26, Chandigarh Ground. This was announced at a Media Meet in which Organisers & Captains of the teams participated, to announce details of the tourney. Team Captains posed with the ‘Winner & Runner up Trophies’ & Cricket gear at the press meet.
“GBP Group, Kotak Securities, Maruti Suzuki, Indus Towers, Max Hospital, Central Bank of India, Big FM & ATS Valley; are the Companies whose teams will be part of the Tournament which will be played on the League Format. Two Groups A & B have been made featuring 4 teams each.” Said Adesh Khanna, The Perfection Events & Entertainment, The Company which is organizing the Mega Cricket Tournament for Corporates.
CSL T 20 Tourney is being organized in association with D Craft Events & Promotions, which is a Mumbai based Company. “ I have always dreamt of doing cricket tourney for corporates and finally we are doing it here in Chandigarh.The idea behind holding this tournament is to give a break to Senior Corporate Executives from their hectic work schedule by engaging in a healthy, competitive sporting activity. We are hopeful that when managers, doctors, RJs’ don the cricketing attires some exceptional talent will certainly surface.” Said Ravinder Khanna,Director, D Craft.
The Tourney will be played out over 4 weekends. On December 5, the inaugural day, GBP’s team will take on Maruti Suzuki and Big FM will be pitched against Indus Towers at the Sec 26, Chandigarh Ground. On December 6, at the ATS Dera Bassi Ground, Maruti Suzuki will play against Big FM and GBP against Indus Towers. On December 6, concurrently at the Sector 26, Chandigarh ground, it will be Max Hospital Vs Kotak Securities and Central Bank of India Vs ATS. On 12th December at the Sector 32 Model Ground, Chandigarh, Central Bank of India will take on Kotak Securities and ATS will play against Max Hospital. Concurrently at the ATS Derabassi ground, Big FM will play GBP and Indus Towers will be pitched against Maruti Suzuki. On 13th Dec at the ATS Dera Bassi Ground, it will be Max Hospital Vs Central Bank of India and Kotak Securities Vs ATS.
The two Semi Finals will be held on 19 December at ATS Dera Bassi. On December 20 the Final will be played AT Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sec 3, Panchkula. It was informed that Aashman is the NGO partner, Travel Routers the travel partner and Sai Trophies & Sports the trophy partner of the event.
The tourney will certainly give an exposure to Corporate Managers who want to show their Cricketing skills. It will also be a platform for Executives of Corporates, to interact with one another and fans of cricket to have a great time watching the Cricketing action.
