Echocardiography Unit sponsored by Vardhman Group inaugurated at Civil Hospital, Ludhiana

Ludhiana, January 30, 2019: Ravneet Singh Bittu, Member Parliament on Wednesday inaugurated the Echocardiography Unit and several other latest medical equipments donated by Vardhman Group under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to Civil Hospital, Ludhiana.
The Group has spent about Rs.90 lacs in providing Echocardiography Machine, Defibrillator, Digital X-Ray, Color Doppler, Hydraulic OT Table, Cell Counter and several other latest medical equipments to the Hospital.
Bittu lauded the efforts of Vardhman Group in promoting health care for common people who visit Government Hospitals and dispensaries by providing latest medical equipments besides contributing to poor patients' fund.
SP Oswal, Chairman, Vardhman Group, a Padma Bhushan Awardeee in his address shared his thought process and emphasised on Institution Building. He stated that Group's focus has been to give back to the society by supporting institutions in the field of health care and education for the under-privileged sections in the field of health care and education for the under-privileged sections of the society as a long term contribution to build a stronger nation.
Oswal stated that the Group under its CSR initiatives has done several projects in the field of healthcare, education and rural development in the states of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat where its factories are located.
Pardeep Aggarwal, Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana in his address commended the role of Vardhman Group and other Industries in supporting the cause of needy sections of the society through liberal donations.
