E-Office system launched in Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala

Becomes first production unit over Indian Railways to implement this system
Kapurthala, June 28, 2019: Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala, on June 27 introduced E Office system in its offices , thus becoming the first production unit of Indian Railways to implement the system. The trial of this system was successfully carried out on June 26 and on Thursday the system was launched by Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer of RCF, Shri R K Mangla. For the launch of this software, RCF's Information Technology Department under the stewardship of its Chief Mechanical Engineer / IT, Mr. A.K. Sinha made a significant contribution .
The system is capable of handling departmental/ other dept. files in electronic format .This work system will ensure transparency and efficiency in the work of offices in RCF. File tracking system will also be a part of this digital workplace system. E Office will accelerate working of office and paperless working will get a big boost. This system will work for good governance in RCF.
On the occasion, Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer of RCF Mr. R K Mangla said that this system is an important step for promoting good governance, transparency and accountability.
It is worth mentioning that earlier in this month , RCF became the first production unit of Indian Railways to launch SEVA (Service Essentials Visualizer App) portal on 'RCF Kapurthala' Mobile App, wherein digitized Employee Service Record is available to all the employees using android phones, besides other service information.
