Ludhiana, October 16, 2015: ‘Techno Fest’–2015 (An Enlightened Vision), a two day event organized by B.C.M. Chandigarh Road to commemorate 85th birth anniversary of 11th President of India Rev. Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, concluded with spectacular grandeur at the school premises. 88 students from 22 schools of the city participated in an  Inter School Science Quiz, declamation contest and portrait design contest. The  students of R.S.Model emerged as the overall winners and grabbed the running trophy and a cash prize of Rs.3000. BCM Basant City and Guru Nanak Public School, Sarabha Nagar  shone as the first and second runner ups and received Rs.2000 and Rs.1500, respectively. 
In declamation contest BCM Basant Avenue , Dugri bagged the first prize while 
BCM Arya Model and BVM Kichlu Nagar were first and second runner ups. 
In portrait design contest Ashish Dhingra of R.S.Model  got the First prize and Jaspreet Singh of Guru Nanak Public School, Sarabha Nagar  secured the second prize. 
In Science Quiz BCM Basant City and R.S.Model got the first and second position respectively.
Sh. S.K.Mehta (Manager BCM Schools) and Sh. R.B. Khanna (Director Coordination BCM Schools) gave away the prizes to the winners. The glory of prize distribution and valediction ceremony was intensified with an astounding yoga show and medley dance by the students. All the students and the guests paid a solemn homage to Dr. A.P.J. Kalam by offering the garlands. Dr. Kalam though has left for his heavenly abode yet his presence could be felt among the hearts of the students who were all praise for him.
