Dr.Kalam remembered on his 87th Anniversary

Jalandhar, October 19, 2018: Kanya Maha Vidalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous Institution, Jalandhar's PG Department of Physics commemorated the birth anniversary of ''Missile Man of India'', Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam by organizing various events. The events began with the PowerPoint presentation on the biography of Dr.Kalam. The students remarked that the simplicity, dedication to his profession and patriotism of Dr.Kalam have always inspired them.
A book review event was also conducted in which supreme books like ”Ignited Minds”, ''Wings of Fire'' were discussed. These books stimulated the students to have dreams and to follow those dreams.
In the last event, some of the scientific contributions of Dr. Kalam were also outlined. Further, various charts and slogans depicting Dr. Kalam's life and work were displayed for the students. Principal Prof (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi motivated the students to update their knowledge through these events and to follow such role models in their life.
