Dr. Ajay Chhibber joins FICCI as Chief Economic Advisor

NEW DELHI, November 2, 2017: FICCI is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr.Ajay Chhibber as Chief Economic Advisor.
Dr. Chhibber has been with the World Bank from 1983 till 2008. His last position at the Bank was that of Director, Independent Evaluation Group, World Bank. In 2013-14, Dr.Chhibber was Director General, Independent Evaluation Office, Government of India.
Dr.Chhibber is presently Visiting Scholar, Elliot School of International Affairs, Washington DC and distinguished Professor, National Institute for Public Finance and Policy, New Delhi. He has a PhD from Stanford University, USA and has attended
Advanced Management Programmes at Harvard (USA) and INSEAD (Paris).
Dr. Chhibber will be based partly in New Delhi and partly in Washington DC. He will function as Chief Economic Advisor, FICCI. He will supervise economic policy research at FICCI.
