DPS Khanna makes a mark at the North India Golf Tournament

Khanna, April 4, 2018: Delhi Public School (DPS) Khanna students Buddh Singh Pannu and Kirat Kaur Hans on Wednesday brought laurels after they made a place in the top ten positions in the recently held IGU tournament at Lucknow. While Budh Singh Pannu (9 years) was placed 10th in the D-category; Keerat Kaur Hans (7 years) was placed 4th in the E-category.
IGU tournaments are important because the ranking earned in these tournaments will enable the students to play Golf at the International Level in due course.
Three other students of the school- Jaskaran Singh, Akashdeep Singh and Shan Singh have also got positions in the IGU tournament.
It may be remembered that DPS Khanna has a nine-hole golf course and it runs a thriving Golf Academy.
Now, the students are preparing for the next tournament which will be held in Kapurthala from April 28 to 30.
