DMCH to organise North Zone Inter Medical and Dental Colleges Tournament (NOZIT- 2014)

Ludhiana, March 25, 2014: As a part of golden jubilee year celebration, Dayanand Medical College & Hospital (DMCH), Ludhiana is organising North Zone Inter Medical and Dental Colleges Tournament (NOZIT-2014) from March 28 to 30. Around 2,000 students of different medical and dental colleges of the region will be participating in the meet with great zeal and enthusiasm to make this event a huge success.
Secretary of DMCH Managing Society, Prem Kumar Gupta appreciated the arrangements made by organisers for the forthcoming NOZIT-2014. In his message, Prem Kumar Gupta said that in its golden jubilee year celebrations, DMCH will host and conduct lot of special academic and cultural activities so as to make this year a memorable one.
Dr Rajoo Singh Chhina, Chairperson of DMCH Sports Committee said the meet will witnesses a vigorous competition in different sports activities including athletics, cricket, basketball, football, tennis, hockey and others. The meet is one of the most awaited by students of DMCH and they have practiced hard to bring the trophy home. This is the opportunity for all medicos to showcase their sporting and cultural skills.
Principal Dr Daljit Singh said that the aim of this "fest" is to provide the students of the medical colleges from all over North Zone a much deserved break from their hectic medical lives and have three days to themselves, to enjoy, to party, to play, to dance and the live their lives to the fullest.
During the three-day NOZIT festival, star nights will be held on all consecutive days in the evening at Janpath Estate (South City) from 8 pm onwards.
