Ludhiana, February 8, 2017: Department of Orthopaedics of Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana is organizing the 36th Annual Conference of North Zone Orthopaedic Association. The north zone includes Delhi, Uttrakhand, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Punjab and J&K.
Mr Prem Gupta, Secretary DMCH Managing Society, announced that the DMCH has extended all the infrastructure support for the organization of this event. He further announced that this is the first time that anatomical specimens lab is a part of NZOACON. Dayanand Medical College & Hospital is very soon coming up with state of the art Anatomical Labarotary and Advanced Learning Center for the Surgeons to practice the latest techniques.
According to Dr M. Yamin, Organising Chairman of NZOACON 2017, more than 400 delegates from these states are attending this conference and shall interact with about 130 faculty members from all over the nation. Ten surgeons of International fame from Canada, UK, France, Brazil and Singapore are attending this conference as invited faculty.
This is for the firsttime that seven specialized workshops in different fields of Orthopaedics are being conducted as part of the conference. The nitty gritty of the subject shall be discussed thread bare using demonstration on models, anatomic specimens and live surgeries. The workshops will be co-ordinated by a team of doctors from Department of Orthopaedics
According to Dr Harpal Singh Selhi, Organising Secretary of the NZOACON 2017,department of Orthopaedics, Ludhiana Orthopaedic Association and DMCH Ortho Alumni have collaborated toorganize a balanced and excellent academic content to suit the needs of everyone from a general orthopaedic to a super specialist surgeon. The purpose of this conference is to update the skills of participating delegates and make patient care more effective and quality-oriented.
