Ludhiana, September 10, 2018: A Public Health Awareness Program and Blood donation camp was conducted by DMC & Hospital, Ludhiana on 9th September 2018 (Sunday), organized by Utkal Samaj at Shri Jagan Nath Temple, Chandar Nagar, Ludhiana.
At this program medical check-up of more than 100 patients was done by team of doctors from DMC & Hospital. 26 people donated blood on this occasion.
Patients were very thankful to the DMC Hospital team for reaching at their doorsteps and providing free of cost Blood Pressure monitoring, Blood Sugar, ECG and prescribed Medicines.
All present were educated about precautions, good eating habits and things to be avoided to live a healthy life and that early detection of disease is very helpful in proper and timely cure. They were also educated about the benefits of various medical insurances and Govt. schemes providing medical facilities to the general public.
Mr. S K Sahoo, President Utkal Samaj along with all other members thanked the DMCH Management for such informative program and said that they were highly benefited by the check up, investigations and the medicines given and requested for more such program in future.
