DMC HOSPITAL CONDUCTS PUBLIC HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAM AT VILLAGE CHAMINDA

Ludhiana, December 24, 2017: A Public Health Awareness Program was held by DMC & Hospital at Govt. Primary School, Village Chaminda, Pakhowal Road Ludhiana on Sunday.

During the program the team of doctors from DMC hospital made people aware about the various health issues and told them about various precautions, good eating habits and things to be avoided to live a healthy life. People present were also told to take their health issues seriously as an early detection of a disease is very helpful in proper and timely cure of the disease.

At the program about 100 patients were examined by the team of doctors and free of cost blood glucose, ECG and Blood Pressure monitoring was done. The patients were also provided with the free medicines prescribed during the program.

The Sarpanch of the Village Chaminda Mr. Gurdeep Singh thanked the DMCH Management for such informative program. He said that the villagers were highly benefited by the check up, investigations and the medicines given. He also appreciated the health awareness given by the team of doctors. He said that now they will be more cautious about their health issues in future. He thanked the DMC Hospital team and requested for more often visits.
