Ludhiana, February 21, 2013: DLF Pramerica Life Insurance Co. Ltd. (DPLI) on Thursday shared an update on the Company’s performance in Ludhiana and its continual commitment to Punjab.
At a press briefing organised by DPLI to mark the fourth anniversary of its branch in Ludhiana, Maninder Sood, Executive Vice President - Head of Agency Sales, DPLI said, “Our Ludhiana branch was our first branch office outside Delhi NCR and its opening marked our foray into Punjab. Over the last four years, this branch has grown in strength and as of January 31, 2013, accounts for 15% of the total business that we do in the Punjab region. In this period, we have secured the lives of more than 3,000 customers in the city, and collected over Rs. 10 crores as new business premium. We are confident that with our focus on protection and quality of advice, we will continue to witness even more success going forward.”
The Ludhiana Branch Office is headed by Amit Verma, Territory Manager for Ludhiana. He is supported by a strong team of 40 Sales Managers and 128 Life Associates (agents) who are committed to helping DPLI’s customers in Ludhiana meet their life protection needs through the company’s innovative products.
