DIWALI MELA-16 at Apeejay College of Fine Arts

Jalandhar, October 22, 2016: To celebrate the festive season, the Departments of Design, Applied Arts and Fine Arts of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar has organised DIWALI MELA-16 from 21st to 23rd October, at Virsa Vihar, Jalandhar from 10:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m. The event has been inaugurated by Mr.Kamal Kishore Yadav Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar and he felt astonished to see the works of young designers of the College. He said Apeejay’s name is widely known for promoting the culture of our nation and events like this not only benefit in promoting our heritage but also provide a platform to all the youngsters for presenting their professional skills.
The exhibition is showcasing a variety of Designer Products and Accessories like Fashion Clothing, Home Merchandising Articles like Furniture, Lamps, Wall Hangings, Clocks, Tapestries, Murals and Exclusive Diwali Products like designer candles, decoration items etc. skillfully made by our young designers.
Principal Dr. Sucharita shared her views that the College always organizes such type of exhibitions to provide a platform to all the budding designers so that they can showcase their talent to the world.
