Students participate in Diwali celebrations at BCM School, Dugri, Ludhiana on Wednesday.
Ludhiana, October 22, 2014: Diwali, the most awaited festival of Indians was celebrated with fun and frolic when the BCMites zealously participated in the celebrations held at school premises.
A variety of activities and inter-section competitions like Diya decoration, Poster making, Slogan writing and Sweet Delight that exhibited their culinary skills, marked the day. Students in their festive mood adorned their classrooms and displayed their creativity through colorful rangolis.
A few artistic students beautified the hands of girls with the Mehandi.
The judges had a tough time due to thenail biting competition.
The school Principal, Dr.Vandna Shahi applauded the budding artists and chefs for their sincere efforts. Taking the opportunity, she not only wished them a prosperous and Happy Diwali but also advised them to celebrate a clean and green Diwali.
