Diwali Celebration At Ivy World School

Jalandhar, October 28, 2016: Ivy World School , celebrated Diwali through a special assembly. Ivians felt joyous and happy especially celebrating the festivities. Chocolates were distributed amongst the children.
There was a sense of jubilation all around. Many activities were conducted in which the children from grades I–III participated in Diya decoration, IV-V participated in Lantern Making , grades VI-IX participated in Rangoli competition. The names of the students of Grade IV who bagged positions in Lantern Making are : Master Krishna bagged first position, Miss Ananya, second position, Master Rishit stood third and the consolation prize went to Master Goraksh. The names of the students of Grade V who bagged positions in Lantern Making are : Miss Arunima bagged first position , Miss Jannat, second position and Master Krishna bagged third position. The first prize for Rangoli competition went to Champion House, second went to Achiever House and third prize was bagged by Victors House. They were brimming with ideas. The children got an opportunity to learn and understand the vibrant culture of their country. The students took part in the celebrations whole heartedly. The Principal ,Mrs. S.Chauhan appreciated the effort of the children.
