DIRECTIVE: Departments told to submit complete detail of bank accounts within 10 days

Chandigarh, January 14, 2013:The Punjab Government has issued strict directives to all the departments to submit complete information of their bank accounts on prescribed Performa within 10 days.

Disclosing this here, an official spokesperson of the state government said that it has brought to the notice of government that many departments have opened their accounts with different banks on their names. He said that in written directives to all the Departmental Heads, Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners, Finance Department have ordered to submit complete account detail of their departments within 10 days from the date of issuance of letter.
