DIRECTIONS for senior IAS officers to ensure attendance during budget session

Chandigarh, March 18, 2013: The Punjab Government has issued revised instructions to the all Financial Commissioners, Principal Secretaries, Administrative Secretaries, Secretaries and other Senior IAS officers of the state to ensure their attendance in the Officers’ Gallery of the Punjab Legislative Assembly during the Budget Session of 14th Punjab Vidhan Sabha.

Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of the Parliamentary Affairs Department said that the senior IAS officers have been asked to note the proceedings of the other departments allotted to them, besides their own department. As per new instructions they have been asked to report to the Principal Secretary/CM, besides a copy to the Parliamentary Affairs Department on the same day.
