DIPS UE-1 participated in debate and painting competition held at science city

Aashna Saluja wins third prize & Sakshi gets consolation prize
Jalandhar: DIPS UE-1 participated in debate and painting competition on 22nd April at Pushpa Gujral Science City, Kapurthala on the occasion of global earth day celebration. Painting competition was based on sustainable earth and it is a matter of great effort and achievement that Aashna Saluja of class IX was awarded third prize and a cash prize of Rs.3000. The topic for debate was is human activity primarily responsible for global climate change. Sakshi of class X got consolation prize and a cash prize Rs.2000.
The chief guest Dr.Sandeep Sehajpal, Punjab University encouraged and applauded the students as he honoured them with prize and awards.
The principal Ms.Neelu Bawa appreciated the effort put in the students and also motivated them for further participation and win laurels for the school and themselves. On this occasion principal said “never ever give up, constant effort is the key to success! And applauded the effort put in by Mr. Santosh Shirke and Ravinder Aujla in preparing the students.
