Dhillon felicitates people on eve of Janam Ashtami

Ludhiana,  August 27, 2013: Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, Public Works Minister, Punjab today extended his warm greetings to the people of the State on the eve of Janam Ashtami.
In his message, Dhillon said the birth of Lord Krishna stood as symbol of universal love, selfless service and spiritual maturity in the mainstream of life. ''The eternal values preached by Lord Krishna in ''Bhagavad Gita'' are very much significant and relevant to every generation since the times immemorial,'' he added.
The Minister hoped the festival would strengthen the bonds of love and mutual understanding among the people and bring new cheer and prosperity in their lives.
