Dharamsala, November 11, 2013: Himachal cricket association have decided to create a world class museum of maestro Sachin Tendulkar at Dharamsala to honour him. This was decided in the meeting of HPCA on Monday at Dharamshala.
“It is a small tribute by the cricket association to the greatest son of Indian cricket, who has inspired generations of cricketers across the world,” said Anurag Thakur, president HPCA.
The museum would become a great centre of attraction for all the visitors who come to visit the picturesque HPCA stadium .The museum would also have the details of Indian cricketing history and the players who have contributed to the development or brought glory to the country by the pursuing the game. Mohit sood, Press secretary, HPCA said that it is yet another feather in the cap of the HPCA which is committed to providing and developing world class Infrastructure in Himachal Pradesh.
“We are looking forward to make Himachal a superpower in cricket at the national level and are committed towards our cause and these are small steps in this direction,” said sood.
The executive meeting also discussed the recent developments, legal matters, pavilion, construction works and providing other facilities to the players and staff.
