DHARAMSALA eagerly awaits Sachin Tendulker

Dharamsala, May 2, 2013: The Hill city of Dharamsala is eagerly waiting for this season’s IPL matches to be played here.

Host Kings XI Punjab shall meet DD Delhi on 16th May, but the real interest lies on the second match of 18th May where Sachin will be the member of playing XI, when MI shall meet King in this ground.

Tendulkar the ‘Bhagwan of Cricket’ is coming for the first time in the city, as he missed India-England ODI of January this year, because of his retirement announcement for that format.

Mohit Sood, Press Secretary, HPCA said, “There is high demand of tickets for the match of 18th May, and most of the stands are already full.”

Kapil Sharma a fan of Sachin said, “We want a ton from the legend in this ground, so that his name should stick as a record for ever.” Only Gilchrist have scored a century here in 2011.

Sources said that HPCA might name a stand in the name of Sachin, when he would play this first match here. However, it could not be confirmed from the HPCA officials.

Anuraag Thakur, President, HPCA said,” Sachin can also play the match between MPs and film Stars, fixed for 20th May on this venue.”
