Deputy Commissioner Rajat Aggarwal takes classes of government school students!

Ludhiana, February 10, 2014: The Ludhiana deputy commissioner Rajat Aggarwal, on Monday, did surprise checking in the government offices, schools and hospitals in the district. The motive of this exercise was to ensure presence of staff in these institutions. Interestingly, during the surprise checking the deputy commissioner also conducted classes of the government school-students. Perhaps it was for the first time that a deputy commissioner conducted classes of the students in government schools. The objective was to know about level of the education of the students.  
During this checking, the deputy commissioner found the veterinary doctor and pharmacist absent from the duty at Government Veterinary Hospital at Mahdoodan village. He ordered for departmental action against both of them.
At Government Primary School, Neelon Kalan, the deputy commissioner found that very few students were enrolled there. He asked the villagers and the school management to work for increasing number of the students.
The deputy commissioner found that the students were not getting adequate sports goods at the Lal Kalan government primary and high school. He also observed that the students were also lacking in general knowledge. The deputy commissioner took a notice of it and asked the concerned to lay special emphasis on improving general knowledge of the students.
He also took mid day meal to know its quality.
