Ludhiana, May 25, 2016: Deputy Commissioner Mr Ravi Bhagat today handed over a cheque worth Rs 50,000 to a student of Ludhiana district who have been awarded with the prestigious merit award from the Dr Ambedkar Foundation of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.
Mr Ravi Bhagat today handed over the cheque worth Rs 50,000 to Ramandeep Kaur, a student of GHG Khalsa Senior Secondary School, Gurusar Sadhar, in his office here today.
While congratulating the student, the Deputy Commissioner also thanked Dr Ambedkar Foundation for awarding the students. He urged Ramandeep Kaur to always work hard in her life and achieve great heights. He said that such financial assistance in the form of merit award would definitely boost the morale of the students.
