Democratic Republic of Congo wins Afcon Cup

Jalandhar, May 2, 2016: CT Group of Institutions in association with Afcon organized a final match of Afcon cup between Democratic Republic of the Congo and Cameroon. The match was won by Democratic Republic of the Congo with 2-0. More than 200 African students from different educational institutions were present at final match.
The players showed the full enthusiasm during the match. Both the teams were strong but Democratic Republic of the Congo managed to win the match by scoring two goals.
Dr. P.S. Bedi (Director Campus, CT Group of Institutions) congratulated the winning team of the tournament. He said, “Afcon is an association formed by the African students from countries of Africa. The tournament is organized with a motive to encourage the student’s interest towards different games. Football is a wonderful game that needs to be uplifted and liked by our youngsters. The participating teams have enjoyed playing this sport and we are sure they will continue doing so.”
Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions) wished the winning and all the participating teams of the tournament. He advocated the importance of sports in our life to ensure healthy mind, body and soul.
