Delegation of Punjab Transport Staff Association calls on Kohar

Chandigarh, December 2, 2014: A delegation of the Punjab Transport Staff Association today met the Transport Minister, Punjab, Ajit Singh Kohar.
Stating this, a spokesperson of the Department said that the delegation members apprised the Minister of their long pending demands. The delegation, which was led by the President of the association Labh Singh Saini, listed their demands regarding promotion of store attendants, upgradation of the posts of senior scale stenographers, amendments in the rules of Group ‘B’ services and Group ‘A’ services.
According to the spokesperson, the Minister assured the delegation members of sympathetically consider their demands.
During this meeting, Secretary, Transport, Anurag Aggarwal, State Transport Commissioner, Ashwani Kumar, Director, Transport, Bhupinder Singh, Administrative Officer, Jagdeep Singh Galwatti and other representatives of the association were present.
