Delegates of Knitwear Club, Ludhiana meet Chief Engineer, PSPCL at Ludhiana.
Ludhiana, August 12, 2013: A delegation of Knitwear Club, Ludhiana led by Darshan Dawar, President and Narinder Miglani, General Secretary called on Rashpal Singh and welcomed him on his posting as Chief Engineer, Punjab State Power Corporation Limited at Ludhiana.
The officer was apprised of the problems of the industry.
Rashpal Singh assured the delegation that he was always at their disposal for ameliorating the difficulties of the industry emphasising that industry is free from power cuts. He further said that an amount of Rs. 500 crores has been got sanctioned for galvanizing the infrastructure relating to power such as replacing of faulty transformers and switch gears, damaged poles and dilapidated wiring etc, said a release of the Club today.
The delegation thanked Singh for listening to the problems with compassion and sympathy.
Among others, Jaswant Takkar, Sudershan Jain, Ramesh Garg, Ashok Popley, Kewal Buddhiaraja, Manjit Kumar Dang, Bittu Chawla, Ravinder Vasan, Ajit Kapoor and PC Gakhar were comprised in the delegation.
