Delegation of FICO reached Dusseldorf, Germany to attend K-Fair 2019

Ludhiana, October 16, 2019: 30 Member High Power Delegation of Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organization popularly known as FICO-IamSMEofINDIA reached Dusseldorf Germany to attend “The K Fair” 2019 under leadership of Shri Mankar Garg Head FICO Plastic Division Leader of the Delegation, along with S. Jasmeet Singh Kular Deputy Leader of the Delegation.

K is the world's largest trade fair for the plastics and rubber industry. It gathers the most important supplier of plastics and rubber machinery, raw and auxiliary materials and semi-finished products, technical parts and reinforced plastic products under one roof. It is an ideal platform to showcase products and innovations and to make business contacts. K will be followed by a special exhibition under the theme "Visions in Polymers", that presents the trends and innovations of the industry. Special consideration is given to the subjects of energy efficiency and resource conservation, k Fair 2016 welcomed on the 8 days of the fair, from 19 October to 26 October 2016, about 3293 exhibitors and 232000 visitors on the K in Düsseldorf. The 21st edition of the K takes place on 8 days from Wednesday 16.10.2019 to Wednesday 23.10.2019 in Düsseldorf.

S. Gurmeet Singh Kular President FICO said that visiting exhibition & conventions internationally not only helps one to update himself as per international market, but also provides a chance to upgrade in terms of technology as well. It will be a huge learning experience for the delegates as German technology is considered as a benchmark in terms of engineering industry. Moreover in terms of reliability & durability plastic parts have replaced iron & steel parts in almost all sectors of industry, for example in Cars the iron & steel bumpers have been replaced by plastic bumpers, if we consider bicycle industry most of the major parts like basket, mudguards, chain covers rims(EIWA Wheels) are being replaced by plastic parts, Mr. Kular said Plastic can be recycled completely & the recycled plastic is used to manufacture most of the items, there is a huge scope for plastic recycling industry to flourish in India, there is huge opportunity to all the members going to Germany to explore possibilities and contribute towards growth of India.
