Jalandhar, November 7, 2012: Corps of Signals in close association with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organising DEFCOM-2012 on November 8 an 9.
Indian Industry, Academia, Luminaries from R&D organizations and Defence officers will congregate to discuss technological challenges and suitable solution meeting Defence Forces Communication requirement.
The objective of the seminar is to provide participants the understanding of the growth in infostructure as a consequence of transformation towards Net Centricity, discuss future IT and make informed choices to realise these.
The theme of DEFCOM-2012“Tactical Communication Systems: ICTEC Challenges and Opportunities” has been selected in line with the vision of Indian Army towards Becoming Net centric force.
The seminar will be conducted over two days comprising of three Technical Sessions, one HR Session and two Workshop Sessions.
The Defence Minister, AK Antony has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest for the Inaugural Session.
